History

It was in 1886 that the newly-settled community of Mulvane celebrated the opening of their first bank: The Mulvane State Bank.

Purchased by the Carson family in 1949, the bank has steadily grown, incorporating the newest technologies, while still maintaining its focus on customer service.

The traditional values of integrity and hard work established under the leadership of F.L. Carson still remain today and are the cornerstone of all our banking practices. Today, his son, Frank L. Carson, III, President of Mulvane State Bank and a third generation banker is proud to carry on the work of his father and further develop and expand the family bank providing the Mulvane and greater Wichita Area with sound banking service.
